I am checking with various legal contacts about the absence of a definition in the 2009 Texas Penal Code. No one seems to know the answer.
The definition of “serious bodily injury” appears to have been omitted from Penal Code 107(a). The definition does appear in 49.07(b) but only for that section.
Is there an explanation or merely misprints that will be corrected in the on-line version by March 15th on the State web site?
    I appreciate the help!
